One a day for a year
One a Day for a Year, is a collaboration between Moose and her daughter starting in 2014 spanning from the age of 10½ to 11½.
“Each day, we shared a few minutes together to follow our daily ritual. The photos were never judged or retaken; they were simply created to be viewed at a later date. I loved looking into her eyes through the viewfinder. Every image became a part of a larger narrative of her growth, my role as her mother and a meditation on the passing of time.”
The images capture ordinary moments in her life including mornings before school, bath times, celebrations, times of irritation, thoughtfulness and stillness.
As described by Collins Dictionary, “this pivotal age is marked by significant neurological changes and the emergence of self-consciousness.”
