One a day for a year
One a Day for a Year, is a collaboration between Moose and her daughter starting in 2014 spanning from the age of 10½ to 11½.
“Each day, we shared a few minutes together to follow our daily ritual. The photos were never judged or retaken; they were simply created to be viewed at a later date. I loved looking into her eyes through the viewfinder. Every image became a part of a larger narrative – of her growth, my role as her mother and a mediation on the passing of time.”
The images capture ordinary moments in her life – school days, bath times, celebrations, annoyance and thoughtful times of stillness.
As described by Collins Dictionary, “this pivotal age is marked by significant neurological changes and the emergence of self-consciousness.”
